Pre-2001 Football Gallery -- Georgia Bulldogs vs Purdue Boilermakers, Outback Bowl - January 1, 2000 -- To kick off the Year 2000, I took Abigail to this my first football game in the new Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, FL. Purdue became my 8th Big Ten team seen live. 22 Outback Bowl records were set in this classic. It was kind of an ugly game; Purdue missed a couple extra points and field goals that cost them the game. Georgia made fewer mistakes and won the game in overtime, 28-25. Attendance: 54,059.
