Detroit Lions vs Baltimore Ravens, October 9, 2005 (21 images) My first trip to Ford Field was memorable for so many reasons! First, the weather was awesome. Second, the new stadium was beautiful and impressive. Third, the game was probably the worst NFL game I've ever attended! The Ravens had 21 penalties accepted for 147 yards! (One penalty away from an NFL record.) Two Baltimore players were ejected: Terrell Suggs and B.J. Ward. The Ravens let their emotions get out of control and allowed a bad Lions team to win the game easily. It was an embarrassment to Mike and me, who were wearing Ravens' jerseys, but we had fun anyway.
