Beaver Stadium, State College, PA. Capacity: 107,282 (2nd largest in nation)

"Sooz" (Susie), Kendra's mom and Matt's mother-in-law. Nice camoflauge gear! Mike, Kendra's father on right, drinking a beer.

Matt gets ready for the game. Kendra is on the left facing away.

Here I am, just before we enter Beaver Stadium! I am ready for a great game!

The Hoosiers warm up before the game.

The Lions warm up before the game.

The PSU Blue Band's drum line.

The Blue Band takes the field for the pre-game ceremony of forming the visiting teams logo or something. Here, they make an "I".

Then the band does the "PSU"...

...followed by the "Floating LION".

Indiana takes the field.

Penn State takes the field.

Joe Paterno (338 wins going into this game) takes the field with the team. He is just about to step over the 40 yard line; in the tan jacket.

Opening kickoff.

The Hoosiers get the ball first and this is their first play from scrimmage.

Here, the Hoosiers (white) are on offense and go with the 2 backs in the "I" formation and two wide receivers. QB Matt LoVecchio is under center.

Inside the red zone (inside the 20-yd line), the Hoosiers again go with the backs in the "I", but put the far-side receiver in motion.

Penn State on offense: 2 backs in the "I", 2 wide receivers split to the far side of the field, QB Zack Mills is under center.

Here, PSU goes with 1 back in the backfield, 1 receiver to the far side, and the tight end down on the near side with two WR behind him.

PSU: 2 backs in the "I", 2 WR, in a balanced offensive set. IU: basic 4-3 defense with the corner back playing off the far receiver.

The sun peeked out from behind the clouds occasionally. Also, the student section filled slowly, as you can see it is mostly full now.

At halftime, it was Penn State 21, Indiana 7.

The Blue Band did an excellent halftime show: "Glory Days".

The Lion mascot and some band members came to our section (among others) and led the crowd in the fight song.

A tuba player.

At the start of the 4th quarter, it was 52-7 Penn State.

The scoreboard when we left with 5:37 in the game: still PSU 52-7 over IU. This would be the final score in Coach Paterno's 339th victory.

Back in the parking lot, we tailgated until well after dark. It was fun!
