Auburn vs Alabama:  The Iron Bowl, November 22, 2003

This is Samford Hall, an administrative building on campus. The clock plays the fight song three times a day, daily! War Eagle fly down the field...

Downtown Auburn. The intersection near Toomer's Corner, where the tree on the right stands, waiting to be toilet-papered after a Tigers' win.

The most important thing today: Beat 'Bama!

The campus is literally covered in tents, trailers, and tailgaters. Everyone is getting ready for the 68th Iron Bowl.

A look at the stadium from the other direction. You can see how crowded the campus is.

This is Tiger Walk. Its an Auburn tradition where the fans line the street into the stadium...

...the cheerleaders lead the way, squeezing past the cheering, singing crowd...

...then comes Aubie, the mascot, giving hi-fives to everyone...

...then the football players and coaches parade through the crowd. It is really awesome and a great way to get fired up for the game!

Aubie and me. Mike took this picture as I snuck into the Alumni area to pose with Aubie.

The exterior of the stadium has lit scenes of football heroes and stuff.

They have opened the gates... this is the throng of thousands of students trying to get inside! We are already in and on our way up to our seats.

There goes the band around the corner and into the stadium.

The home team won! Auburn recovered the onside kick and won the game 28-23! War Eagle!

We all went to Toomer's Corner and TP'd the tree! What a day!
